Keep in mind that our memories get stored in the subconscious mind from the perspective of the age we are when the event takes place. In other words, a 4-year-olds perspective of the world is very different than a 10-year-old, 20-year-old, 40 or 60.
When I was presenting a few years ago at Heartland Hypnosis Conference, I led a demonstration of this process in which the participant ‘healed’ her mother issues by releasing the stored emotion from the body, updating the limiting beliefs she concluded about herself and her mother as well as taking positive learnings from the experience.
Something fast and fascinating happened when she came out of hypnosis. Her mouth that was drooping on one side, due to a stroke was noticeably straighter.
Say whaaat? It’s true.
A functional medicine doctor, who does face readings, watched, and explained how a droop on one side of the mouth means mother issues. Her physical body made the shift that fast!
